Lavani Partners
"When the stakes are high and the margin for error is not, we work with you to deliver desired outcomes."
A specialist firm combining programme design and delivery, governance architecture, specialist advisory, and digital transformation expertise.
What We Do
We do not produce recommendations and leave. We design, build, and where the mandate requires it, deliver. Everything we build is designed to function without our permanent presence. That is the standard we hold across every engagement.
01
For organisations with a mandate, strategy, or change programme that needs to move — from the first design session through to sustained delivery. We do not arrive after the strategy has been set and the problems have compounded. We design the programme, build the delivery infrastructure, and bring it home. Then we build the operating model that sustains the outcome after we have gone.
02
We do not review your governance and write a report. We design and build the governance infrastructure that holds your organisation to account — the accountability structures, reporting frameworks, and oversight mechanisms that function under regulatory scrutiny, investor diligence, and the pressures of a major programme. We have built these frameworks from inside major regulated institutions. We know what survives and what does not.
03
Deep expertise and independent judgement across transactions and capital deployment. We bring the analytical rigour of practitioners who have evaluated and structured these mandates from the inside, not from a distance.

The Firm
Lavani Partners was recently founded on a straightforward premise: the advisory market is full of firms that describe what good looks like. We have built it and delivered for major institutions, development finance organisations, and government institutions across three continents.
CFA · CAIA
Principal — Infrastructure Finance, Governance & Transaction Advisory
Over twenty years at the intersection of institutional capital and operational reality — infrastructure finance, private markets, asset management, and development finance across Africa, North America, and Europe. She has evaluated and monitored investments from the institutional capital side at a leading pan-African development finance institution, governed a major private credit manager through a full investment process transformation producing its first clean audit and evaluated investments at a leading pan-African development finance institution.
She designs systems that outlast the engagement. What she builds does not require her permanent presence to function — that is not incidental, it is the method.
MBA
Principal — Digital Strategy, Transformation & Infrastructure Programmes
Over twenty years leading digital strategy, complex transformation programmes, and project development advisory across financial services and consulting. Director at a global consulting company working with clients in energy, financial services, and other sectors — responsible for AI deployment and designing the systems that enable major institutions to operate at scale.
He began his career in strategy and performance consulting before progressing to specialist advisory across infrastructure and capital programmes, privatisation, investment frameworks, and major transactions across international markets.
Where We Work
Operating depth in three primary markets built through years of living, working, and interacting with relevant stakeholders in each market.
Advisory work lands differently depending on whether you know the terrain or are reading about it. That distinction is at the core of how we engage.
United Kingdom
Home base and primary institutional market. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) regulatory knowledge. Active relationships across UK banking, and investment management.
Sub-Saharan Africa
Our African anchor. On-the-ground experience across the Nigerian financial services, infrastructure, and advisory market. Active institutional relationships with pan-African development finance organisations and the broader West African professional network.
North America
Institutional experience across Canadian banking, private credit, and investment management. North American institutional capital network.
Who We Serve
Our mandates are likely to come with high stakes, tight timeline, and high cost of getting it wrong. Our target clients include:
Founder-led and mid-sized businesses ready for the next level whose governance and operating model has not kept pace with their growth.
Investment funds across infrastructure, private equity, private credit, and real assets — particularly those with African and emerging market mandates.
Portfolio companies approaching exit, IPO, or restructuring — where governance and programme delivery must hold under transaction pressure and investor diligence.
Multilateral development banks, bilateral donors, foundations, and company-sponsored initiatives where both impact and accountability to capital matter.
Public sector clients managing large capital programmes — infrastructure privatisation, special economic zones, and public-private partnership structuring.
Banks, fintechs, and asset managers navigating regulatory complexity — Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) authorization or governance redesign.
We do not respond to all enquiries with a proposal. We respond with a conversation — because the right engagement starts with understanding the actual problem, not the one in the brief.
